Vintage 2022 was quick, and quite early for us.
Harvest day on 26th February was pleasantly warm and sunny which made for sunny temperaments as well 🙂 We were happy to have the fruit off before the heatwave a few days later.
The wine from Vintage 2022 is still in barrel. We’re not in the business of hurrying things. It will likely be bottled late 2023/early 2024, and we’ll lay it down in a temperature controlled cellar before release late 2024.
Excitingly, there’s another blanc de noir in the making for release in 2025 or 2026. We sold out of all the vintage 2019 blanc de noir in 6 months, so, whilst there’s a wait, we think it will be worth it!
